My new scanner came today. Installation was cake, and I simply couldn’t wait to put this image online. I have been holding off freaking out about how much I love my Polaroid camera until I could actually post a real image or two that was scanned at higher than 200 dpi. Many folks are asking where you get film for this. I am getting my film through The Impossible Project. They have both a sepia/monochrome film (PX100) and this tinted film for the SX-70 called PX-70 Color Shade. I love this stuff, and really like the soft feel it gives to the images.
This is one of my absolute favorite images of my wife. Who would have thought that low-fi would be so incredible. I would love your feedback on this so please feel free to comment.
