This wedding was a very personal one. I have known the groom for several years now, and had the opportunity to play a small mentoring role in his life years ago. He has since (probably not because of anything I did!) grown into a man, and it has been amazing to reconnect with him and catch up on what has been going on in his life. I love doing weddings, but this one was so special because so much of his life, and the journey he has been on, is evedent when you watch him, especially with his new bride Amy. They love each other, and unashamedly, and it was so fun to capture that, to be present at its culmination and new beginning. Also, as you can tell from the pictures, they are both characters!!!
